'WHAT?

My brother.

you don't watch X Factor?!"

The above expression helps to depict the above question. I genuinely couldn't care less about people lying about trying to 'make their life long dream come true' when it's 'their only chance'. If you wanted something THAT bad you'd go about it in lots of ways rather than just appearing on tv and exploting yourself. I get so bored of repetitive conversations online, life or tv about this program. I'm not saying that the people on there are talentless as I envy almost all of them but I'm sure there's better things on tv.

Please, stop watching people chase their dreams and chase your own. I think I just choked on my own cheesy-ness!

However, I do listen to these views as I'm 100% sure I talk about a lot of things that other people do no care about yet they are willing to listen.

So I respond with this face...

and a light 'hmmmm...'

Amsterdam.

I could write a load of stuff about how amazing Amsterdam was but instead I'll just post this photo in it's original size, which means scrolling but I think it's worth it.

Faith In Humanity.

For some reason I've became addicted to student beans.
I usually go on it for the offers but I found their 'World Weird Web' page and cannot stop going on it...

Anyway, you know the days were you get so angry at the littlest thing? Well next time that happens, click on this link... You'll love it, I promise.

Here's a snippet...

Christians apologise at gay pride for homophobia within the church...

...and are greeted by this.

After an earthquake damages a nuclear power plant in Japan, pensioners offer to help claiming that 'the young' shouldn't have to put their lives at risk...

Still life, literally.

I don't even know what to write about these. They are. Just. That. Awesome.

Still life paintings of people, using still life models. The epic work of Alexa Meade who paints on people and takes photographs creating images that look like paintings. Just cast your peepers on these...

 Your mind is blown, right?

Roma.

I was meant to be going to Kenya this year but I left it too late for my visa. I think my laid back attitude needs to stop.

Apart from being really angry at myself I thought about where I wanted to go instead. I have 4 major places on my bucket list I want to go; Austrailia, Japan, Kenya and Rome/Venice. As I was getting my head around all this Kenya stuff and STILL reading the 3 booklets from different organisations (in the hope that my visa would miraculously be sent to me) a friend said that her plans had altered and that she was now going to go Rome by herself. At around the SAME time another friend asked if I wanted to go to Japan to meet her after her work conference. Annoying. One plan that falls through and another two plans open up for the same dates.

After consideration I realised that Japan would be IMPOSSIBLE this summer and that it'd be more beneficial to go to Rome.

Such a good choice. I can't even explain how amazing it was. Since I can't, I hope you get the point from these photos... (i've also been several places since but I'll leave them for other posts)

Point being, if you ever get the chance to go Rome, take it. I'm 100% going again.

Simmy Cup.

My friend Simba had an idea which I loved so I decided to jump on his bandwagon. If you read these, you'll get the jist.

'New kid on the block'

If you read this post

You'd be aware that the statue on the 4th plinth has changed. It wasn't the one I voted for but it surprised me as it is not as bad as I thought!

A very late celebration

So on Monday 13th February I decided to finally do something for my 21st. Which wasn't ideal because I am uni all of Tuesday. I decided the theme would be 'Amanda's Panda's' so I bought a white tee shirt (because I don't think I have ever owned one!) and black and white face paint.

Was a good night.

Fringe.

Soooo it wasn't the best idea I've had. I'm stuck in a 'cut a full fringe in, grow it out, cut a full fringe...' rut. I'm aware that they make my head look huuuuge but since I cut 3 inches off on sunday (my hair needed it because of all the dip dying! and I didn't have time to go the hairdressers) I've been really bored with it.

Besides it's only hair, it'll grow back:)

Just after I cut it in, the lipstick is a Mac one probably going to do another cheesey review on it because it's amazing.

Today I'm having a lazy day and lounging around in an oversized hoody doing some 'publication design' work. I'm also trying to teach myself Japanese, I understand that I will be labelled 'geeky' but never mind I don't care, I've wanted to do it for ages but never gotten around to it. Besides, I'm only in uni for two days so don't want to waste my days just doing nothing.

Konnichi wa! Genki desu ka?

Haircuts tend to look better once they've 'settled'. This remains just as disastrous.
